Santa Clara County Green Teams is a coordinating committee designed to help schools within the Santa Clara County in the San Francisco Bay Area to share information, resources, and experiences across campuses.

organization based in Palo Alto that works on a multitude of projects, including the Green
at Home campaign and stewardship projects at Arastradero Preserve. Also

Farmers Markets
Buying local food is an easy way to lessen your environmental impact. Most food travels hundreds of thousands of miles to get to your plate. Local food is fresher, tastes better, and doesn't take nearly as much energy to transport.
The California Avenue Farmers Market convenes on Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm at California Avenue and El Camino in Palo Alto .
The Mountain View Farmers Market convenes on Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm at the Mountain View Caltrain Station
(600 West Evelyn
between Hope and View Streets).
The Palo Alto Farmers Marketconvenes on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm in downtown Palo Alto behind the post office on Gilman Avenue near Hamilton. The market convenes mid-May through mid-December.
